Our Community and the Local Media: A Positive Move

Our community (the African community) continues to strengthen its positive impact in the local community – thanks partly to an ongoing cordial relationship with the local media. In the recent past, the Daily Advertiser (DA), in particular, has done us proud through regular positive publication of our (African community) engagement in the local development programs.

In the last few days, the DA has been focusing on all things good about Wafrica, African students studying at CSU, and individual members of our community. See, for example, the pictures attached.

On behalf of the larger African community, Wafrica would like to say THANKYOU to the DA.

It is encouraging to approach the end of the year on a positive note and hope that in the coming years, we as a community will continue to support one another, work together, participate in community development, do our part in creating a socially inclusive and harmonious society, and flourish as citizens in this place we now call home.

During this festive season, let us all enjoy and share with one and all. Take care, obey and observe the laws and be mindful of those that are still struggling for PEACE around the world.

Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Kind regards,

Wafrica Inc, Executive, Dec 2012
